He sent "the devil to paradise" at the end of the 90s, before writing for Mika, Polnareff or Bashung. This elegant verb dandy distills words with a formidable mastery. "The friend who does good" knew how to surround himself of his close guard (Keren Ann, Philippe Katerine, Mika, Brigitte, Lio ...) to present a selection of his songs. "Portraits" was offered to the public in January 2019.

A few days before the release of his album "Portraits", Doriand unveils his playlist "Fiesta". By Depeche Mode to Diana Ross, from New Order to Prefab Sprout.
Doriand makes us switch to an 80's atmosphere. The sounds of these unforgettable songs which make "beep-beep" as he likes to say it. Typical and generational artists like Elie & Jacno and Etienne Daho set the pace for an inspiring playlist. His selection don't forget some cult evidences from this decade like Blondie and Kajagoogoo. Finally, Doriand likes to bounce his musical spirit with dancing rhythms.
